I like this a lot.

I love Dief's voice, it really works. I can hear him so clearly.

Thank you nakeisha! Dief voice is very much in the eye of the beholder, so I'm glad you liked it.

I've had this tab open for ages, and just now got back to it.

There are few things in this world that make me happier than Dief fic, and this one is wonderful. You bring real depth of insight to his character and to his relationship with Fraser. I loved this whole story, but the second section in particular moved me to sweet and achey tears. Much love.

You're fast moving up the ranks of my favorite dS writers. I'm so glad you've joined the fandom. :-)

Thank you, malnpudl! The "laugh" section is my favorite as well. You've all made me feel very, very welcome.

Yay, I have time to read now! :)

I love this! First I was awwww-ing over puppy!Dief, and then the deaf section just about killed me. And then the Victoria part DID kill me - great stuff. ♥

Thank you, simplystars!

Dogs (and half-wolves, I would imagine) are very practical about injuries, illness, and pain. It only slows them down exactly as much as it must, physically. They just don't fret over it the same way humans fo.

I've missed so much by not being in this fandom earlier...

This isn't the first of your fics I've read... but it's the first of many more that I intend to look up.
