I'm happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless,but not for long
The future is coming on
I'm happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
It's coming on, It's coming on, It's coming on.

Yeah... Ha Ha!
Finally someone let me out of my cage.
Now, time for me is nothing cos I'm counting no age.
Now I couldn't be there.
Now you shouldn't be scared.
I'm good at repairs.
And I'm under each snare. Intangible.
Bet you didn't think so I command you to.
Panoramic view
Look I'll make it all manageable.
Pick and choose, Sit and lose
All you different crews.
Chicks and dudes, Who you think is really kickin' tunes?
Picture you gettin' down in a picture tube.
Like you lit the fuse.
You think it's fictional.
Mystical? Maybe. A Spiritual Hero
Who appears in you to clear ya view when you're too crazy.
Lifeless
To know the definition for what life is.
Priceless
For you because I put you on the hype shit.
You like it?
Gunsmoke.
Ya righteous with one toke.
Ya psychic among those
Possess you with one go.

I'm happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless,but not for long
The future is coming on
I'm happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
It's coming on, It's coming on, It's coming on.

The essence the basics
Without you won't make it.
Allow me to make this Childlike in nature
Rhythm - You have it or you don't.
That's a fallacy.
I'm in them:
Every sprouting tree
Every child of peace
Every cloud you see.
You see with your eyes
I see destruction and demise,
Corruption in disguise.
From this fuckin' enterprise.
Now I'm sucking to your lies
Through Russ, though not his muscles but the percussion he provides
with me as a guide.
But y'all can see me now cos you don't see with your eyes,
You perceive with your mind.
That's the end.
So I'm gonna stick around with Russ and be a mentor.
With a few rhymes so mother fuckers
Remember where the thought is
I brought all this
So you can survive
when law is lawless.
Feelings, sensations that you thought were dead.
No squealing, remember (that it's all in your head).

I'm happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
My future is coming on
It's coming on, It's coming on, It's coming on, It's coming on.
My future is coming on
It's coming on, It's coming on, It's coming on, It's coming on.
My future.

Yes! I think your POV and your story are really clear now, yay! The split screen is an interesting choice. I'm not sure I'm so wild about that, but I *love* the short inset clips of Kronos right after the verse change, and also love the flash of Horseman Methos on "sensations that you thought was dead." And the ripple effect at the end works great larger -- really gets it across. That was an inspired idea, I think.

One thing, when you export for .avi, you want to resize to 640x480. 720x480 is the dv resolution, but it's actually stretched out of proportion from the real 4:3 aspect ratio. I know, it's confusing. (It's actually more confusing than that, but I'll give you the short version. *g*)

Yay!

Oh, and now that you're finished, have you seen sockkpuppett's vid to "Enemy"? I didn't want to mention it before, because I didn't want it to influence you too much. But have you seen? It's nummy. *g* Dammit, it's not online, though. I'm not sure why!

Nope, haven't seen it. I just poked my head into her LJ and begged. Is it a Methos & Kronos vid?

It's a Duncan & Kronos vid. Kronos's POV. :D

I'm glad it's making sense now, Killabeez.

About the aspect ratio ... oops? 640x480, I'll go figure out how to make that happen. Thanks for the last minute catch. And also for minimizing the confusion.

Wow! I've seen so many fantastic vids today that my brain is whirling. I really wish I knew how to do vidding because you all have given me some great ideas. Are there any classes I can take somewhere? Wow!

Well, this is my first vid. I started about 3 weeks ago with these two links: Permetaform's Vidding for Newbies and the useful but horrifyingly technical A&E's Technical Guide to all Things Audio and Visual.

Then I downloaded a 30-day trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements, and here's the result.

Go forth and let free the vid trapped in your head!

Nifty changes you made there--quite a different vid. Lots of Kronos! Much better pov. I liked the clutter-bit, that worked out really well.

Now, onto your next vid challenge! *g*

I can't seem to get it to work. I get a message that there aren't any download servers available.

Will try again later.

Can't believe a story of mine helped inspire a vid! Cool!

Just a quick note to say, I thought the song would be perfect for them and I'm glad someone with your talent went and did it.

On the down side, I haven't watched the vid yet, as am unable to dl the @#$%@#$% thing. I'm trying some more. But I wanted to tell you.

Hi!
I love this vid. Actually, it's one of the best in my personal vid hierarchy and the best in my HL vid ranking.
I've seen it for the first time several years ago and wanted share the joy with newbie Methos fan. Is it still available for downloading, anywhere? Please say yes...

Thank you so much, harpijka! This was my first vid; when I look at it now I tend to get caught up in the imperfections rather than the narrative. So hearing how much you appreciate it, and that you want to share it with a new Methos fan, really made my day.

I've just uploaded it to Vimeo. You can watch it embedded, on this post, or download it from Vimeo. The password is Methos.
